Our camp leaders are mature adults with many years experience working with children. Home base is our spacious, air conditioned Visitor Centre, which the campers will be in and out of throughout the day.
Our campers are divided into groups:
The Rabbits - 6 & 7 years of age
In this camp, we use games, stories, crafts and activities to introduce young campers to nature. Literacy and numeracy are incorporated in a fun, educational way throughout the day.
Each week's activities centre around a theme. Theme weeks have been selected to match the expertise of the camp leaders.
* Please note that campers must be 6 years of age by September 1, 2012 in order to participate at camp this year.
The Coyotes - 8 to 12 years of age
Our "Coyote" campers will spend their day exploring nature, playing educational games, and doing fun, creative crafts and activities. Each day will centre around a theme. Some of these include wetlands, mammals, owls, and solar energy.
